Hongqi is a top-tier Chinese brand, but it’s far from budget-friendly. I don’t think Chinese car buyers in Dubai are looking for premium, they just want something affordable, and Hongqi doesn’t fit that mold. Any thoughts?

I get what you're saying but I wouldn’t write off Hongqi so quickly. Dubai is a luxury-driven market and buyers here love premium cars whether it’s European, American, or even Chinese. If a brand can prove itself in terms of build quality, service, and reliability I don’t see why it wouldn’t attract buyers. Hongqi’s challenge isn’t just price, it’s about perception. People in Dubai are used to Mercedes, Lexus, and BMW in that premium segment. Can Hongqi compete with them? That’s the real question.

Good point there, competing with established luxury brands is tough. Hongqi needs strong marketing and proven reliability to change perceptions.
