Test drove a Hongqi

Hongqi's a good choice, but I'd say try it out. I'm leaning towards the Geely Preface myself, especially with the Volvo parts. With so many Chinese cars on the road, I don't think you'll have any trouble getting parts later.

Both are solid picks! Geely’s Volvo roots are definitely a bonus, and trying them out is the best way to decide. Plus, with more Chinese cars around, getting parts should be easier in the future.

Yes, I completely agree! I'm also considering the Geely Preface because of those Volvo-related details. And you're right parts shouldn't be an issue in the future given how prevalent Chinese automobiles are becoming. Have you yet to test-drive either?
