Hello drivers! I was wondering. Do you think the Hongqi E-HS9's price is justified considering its features and price point?

The Hongqi E-HS9 is definitely a head-turner, and when you compare it to luxury EVs like the BMW iX or Mercedes EQS SUV, it packs a lot of features for the price. You’re getting a full-size, ultra-premium SUV with a high-end interior, a massive screen setup, and a serious presence on the road.

That said it really depends on what you value most. If you’re looking for a luxury EV that’s unique and fully loaded it might be worth it. But if you’re concerned about brand reputation, long-term resale value, and software updates there are still some unknowns compared to established European brands.

I think the E-HS9’s price is still a bit steep for an unknown resale value. Sure, it’s got a massive presence and luxury features, but will it hold up in five years? Plus, software and after-sales support could be hit or miss. It’s a gamble unless you really want to stand out.
