The Hongqi H5 seems decent, I’ve even heard some are being used as Ubers. I think it is worth taking for a test drive. Personally, I’d go for the Geely Preface with its Volvo engine and chassis, and with so many Chinese cars on the road, I doubt spare parts will be an issue once the warranty runs out, but right now, MGs seem to be everywhere.

The Hongqi H5 looks solid, but long-term reliability and resale value are still question marks. If parts availability holds up, it could be a decent alternative, but Geely and MG have a stronger track record.
