The Hongqi HS5 is an interesting luxury SUV it looks premium, but at 138k, is it worth the price? Chinese cars often face skepticism, and while Hongqi is known for making good-looking vehicles, reliability concerns are still a major question.
One test drive experience with just 5,000 km already had a check engine light, which doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. At this price point does Hongqi stand a chance against other luxury brands or is it still too much of a gamble for buyers outside of China?
For those who have driven or owned a Hongqi HS5 does it live up to the luxury branding or does it still fall short in terms of quality and reliability?
