Saw one at a charging station. The interior makes a Tesla look like a toy. Change some words with the owner. He said parts and service are a total nightmare.
The Hongqi H5 looks solid, but long-term reliability and resale value are still question marks. If parts availability holds up, it could be a decent alternative, but Geely and MG have a stronger track record.
The tail lights scream Cadillac, and the headlights are all BMW. The lower bumper feels like a blend of BMW and Cadillac styling cues. Then there’s the massive grille, straight out of Lincoln’s design book. It’s like they took inspiration from everywhere and merged it into one. :D
Interesting feedback, I’ve heard mixed things about HongQi’s build quality. Did you test multiple models, or was it just one? I am curious about long-term reliability too..
